1. Introduction and Scope of Agreement

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) constitute the contractual framework governing your relationship with Paliton s.r.o., a virtual asset service provider incorporated in the Slovak Republic (“Paliton”, “we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing, browsing, registering an account, initiating a transaction, or otherwise using any feature of our platform or service environment (“Services”), you acknowledge and agree that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full.

These Terms apply to all interactions between the Client and Paliton, including the creation of an account, the submission and execution of transaction requests, compliance verification, and the use of all associated website features, tools, and service modules. Clients who do not agree with these Terms must immediately cease using the Services and refrain from creating or maintaining an account.

The Services are offered subject to continuous technical, regulatory, compliance, and operational oversight, and may be updated, expanded, limited, or suspended at any time. This Agreement prevails over any previous terms unless explicitly replaced

2. Eligibility, Registration and Client Responsibilities

2.1 Eligibility Requirements
To use Paliton’s Services, you must meet the following conditions:
•You are at least 18 years old.
•You possess full legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.
•You are not located in, resident in, or associated with any restricted or sanctioned jurisdiction.
•You are not subject to any govemment or international sanctions.
The Client bears the responsibility to ensure ongoing compliance with these requirements. Should
your status change, you must notify us promptly.
2.2 Registration Obligations
To access the Services, you are required to create an account and provide accurate, truthful, and
complete information. During registration, and throughout your continued use of the platform, you
agree to:
•Provide up-to-date personal information that can be verified through acceptable documentation.
• Maintain a single user account unless explicitly authorized otherwise.
• Update your information whenever it changes or becomes outdated.
• Ensure that all funds used on the platform belong solely to you.
The quality and accuracy of the information you provide determine your ability to access and use the
full range of Paliton’s Services.
2.3 Account Security
You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Your responsibilities include:
• Keeping usernames, passwords, and authentication codes confidential
Not allowing any third party to access your account.
• Ensuring devices used to interact with the Services are secure.
•Reporting any unauthorized access or suspicion of compromise immediately.
Any activity conducted under your login credentials is presumed to be performed by you, unless
proven otherwise.

3. Description and Nature of the Services

Paliton provides digital asset services, which include:
• Exchange between virtual assets and fiat currency.
These Services are not financial advisory, portfolio management, nor custodial banking services. Paliton does not offer investment advice or recommendations, does not guarantee future value of assets, and does not assume responsibility for your personal financial decisions.
3.1 No Financial Advice
Any informational materials published on our website – charts, price data, explanations, or general market commentary – are provided solely for educational or descriptive purposes. They do not constitute advice or a recommendation.

4. Transaction Principles, Execution and Payment Processes

4.1 Authorisation and Execution
When you submit a request to buy, sell, exchange, or convert virtual assets, you authorize Paliton to
execute the transaction according to the applicable conditions. Execution is subject to:
• AML/KYC checks
• Market liquidity
• System availability
• Technical verification of your request
• Payment confirmation
Transactions are executed in the order received and processed as soon as reasonably possible.
4.2 Payments
Fiat transfers must originate from accounts held in your own name. Payments from or to third-party accounts are generally prohibited unless exceptional approval is granted. To ensure secure and compliant processing, Paliton partners exclusively with regulated European-based Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs) and other licensed European banking institutions. We do not work with unregulated or offshore payment channels. This guarantees that fiat flows remain traceable, transparent, and compliant with EU financial standards. Virtual asset transactions are processed to the wallet address you provide. It is your responsibility to ensure correctness; once a blockchain transaction is initiated, it cannot be reversed.
4.3 Irreversibility of Digital Asset Transactions
Blockchain-based transfers are final. Errors caused by incorrect wallet addresses, incompatible
networks, loss of access to private keys, or misunderstandings about asset types are solely the
Client’s responsibility.

5. Compliance Duties and AML/KYC Requirements

Paliton operates in strict compliance with Slovak and EU anti-money laundering laws. As part of our regulatory obligations, we conduct identity verification and ongoing monitoring of all Clients.
5.1 Verification Procedures
You agree to undergo identity verification, which may include providing:
• Identification documents
• Live verification
• Financial information

• Documentation regarding source of funds or source of wealth
We may request further documents at any time, and access to certain services may be restricted until
verification is complete.
5.2 Monitoring and Suspicious Activity
Paliton conducts continuous monitoring of transactions. We may delay, block, review, or refuse a
transaction if:
• the activity appears inconsistent with your profile:
• AML risk indicators are triggered:
• regulatory obligations require additional checks;
• unusual transaction patterns are detected.
We may report transactions or accounts to authorities without informing you, as required by law.
5.3 Consequences of Non-Compliance
Refusing to provide information, providing false documents, or engaging in suspicious activity may
result in:
• temporary or permanent account suspension;
• transaction cancellation;
• restriction of access to services;
• reporting to competent authorities.

6. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the Services for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or high-risk activities. Prohibited
uses include, but are not limited to:
• money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion
• financing illegal goods or services
• submitting forged, altered, or stolen documents
• impersonating another person
• interfering with platform functionality
• introducing malware or attempting system intrusion
Engaging in prohibited conduct may lead to immediate service termination and potential legal action.

7. Liability Limitations and Risk Disclosure

7.1 General Liability Rules
Paliton is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not
limited to:
• loss of profit
• unauthorized account access
• blockchain network issues
• external payment processor delays or failures
• market volatility
Paliton’s liability is limited to losses directly caused by our deliberate misconduct or gross negligence.

You acknowledge that:
virtual asset prices are unstable and unpredictable;
• technological systems may experience outages;
• blockchain transfers cannot be reversed;
• markets may change rapidly;
• regulatory frameworks may evolve.

8. Account Suspension, Termination and Withdrawal

Restrictions
Paliton may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if:
• you breach these Terms;
• you fail or refuse to complete KYC/AML requirements;
• fraudulent, suspicious, or illegal activity is identified;
• regulatory or law-enforcement agencies instruct us to do so;
• you become a resident of a restricted jurisdiction.
You may request account closure at any time, provided no ongoing investigations, unsettled
transactions, or compliance obligations remain.

9. Amendments to Terms

Paliton may amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms become effective immediately upon publication on our website. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved before the competent courts of Slovakia unless mandatory legal provisions require otherwise.
